In January 2022, Social Motion Packs officially introduced the Creators program — opening up opportunities for content creators to submit their work to be shared/sold through our platform as a way for artists from around the world to showcase diverse work and make an income while doing so. At our core, we believe in the power of an online community to connect us through the love of art and our Creator program is just that.
We’re proud to offer Creator opportunities in over 50 countries around the world and are constantly awestruck by the breathtaking work we receive in submissions weekly. Because of this, we wanted to take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on our individual Creators here on the blog. It’s safe to say that we are truly inspired by them and know that you will be, too.
Meet Elena Hilman
Hailing from Bratisalva is Elena Hilman, the founder of Effortlessly Stories. Elena is a video editor and product photographer who prides herself on living ethically, aesthetically, and ecologically. When we first came across Elena’s Instagram account, we were instantly obsessed with her chic and dreamy aesthetic. With a motion design style that boasts soft femininity and detailed intricacy of nature’s beauty, there’s no denying that Elena is a one-of-a-kind, incredible talent that we are so lucky to have on the Social Motion Packs’ Creators roster.
Beyond the beautiful videography and photography is a lovely human being. We chatted with Elena to get to know her a little bit better, discussing how she got started in the industry, what inspires her, and more! We hope you enjoy getting to know this talent as much as we did.
SMP: HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN VIDEOGRAPHY?
EH: I have been working as a video editor for five years. At some point, I realized that I want to be a full-fledged videographer — to invent, shoot and edit my own videos. And now, I'm officially moving in that direction.
SMP: WHAT INSPIRES YOU WHEN CREATING YOUR MOTION PACKS?
EH: I follow visual trends on Instagram and try to create packs with up-to-date visuals. I also try to imagine who might be a potential client of my packs and create content for them.
SMP: HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR AESTHETIC/STYLE?
EH: At the moment, I'm thinking that in a world with so much competition for Creators, in order to be noticed and in demand you need to develop your own individual style and stick only to it. Therefore, I want to try not to create packs looking at trends, but to create packs only in the style that is closer to me. I love minimalism, natural materials/textures, and japandi style
SMP: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO FUTURE CREATORS WITH SOCIAL MOTION PACKS?
EH: My opinion is that you should only make videos that most people can't make at home. For example, use unusual locations and unusual props. I also believe that in the near future, fantasy 3D content will be the trending. So, if you are a 3D artist you should definitely try creating a videos for socialmotionpacks.com!
